Good Ram for older computers (2008-05-01)
Crucial makes some of the best ram in the industry. The Ballistix made by Crucial is also great but only usefull if over clocking if your not over clocking it’s a waste of money. This was told to me by a guy from Crucial itself.
The 1GB went in without a hitch and was seen by my computer upon booting up after install. This is my second time having to install Ram in any computer bought new anyways. And both times didn’t have many problems at all. After my first time of install ever I learn when taking the ram out look at the bottom of the stick holding in place just as you took it out of your computer, you will see a notch at the bottom just insert the new stick the same way. Or you could just look at the bottom of the Ram slot and make sure you insert the ram lined up with the notch on the new ram. Due to poor eye sight for myself I have found taking the old one out and then inserting the sameway with notch makes it easier for me.What a shame! (2007-12-30)

While the memory is a little expensive comparatively, it was just what I needed for a slightly older mother board.Pleased as punch (2007-01-09)
I bought this product for my son who is hard to buy for.
He told me it worked fine and is happy with it.
I used the wish lists a lot this year, the only thing I noticed is that some times when an item is purchased that the system did not always clear it from the list. We only had one occasion where an item was purchased twice because it remained on the list after being purchased on Amazon.com.Great value ram for people not concerned with max OC (2006-05-17)
Crucial makes some of the best ram in the industry. In fact Crucial ballistix ram is the fastest ram out there and also the most scalable (as in allows different timings, bandwidth etc)
Obviouly this isn’t high end ballistix ram but I would hazard a guess that 99% of people couldn’t tell the difference in performance. This is great ram at a great cost backed by a great company. Sure it’s not PC4000 ram but for some 50mhz (and slower memory timings I might ad) isn’t worth an extra $100-$200 this ram is great if you aren’t looking to OC the you know what out of it (even then I’ve heard people get decent oc’s with it sometimes)
